Built in 1896, Kalgoorlie Primary School is the oldest school in Kalgoorlie. Located in the central business district, students have the unique opportunity of experiencing quality education in the heart of a thriving mining community some 600kms from Perth.

KPS is a family and community school celebrating inclusive practices in a friendly, safe and supportive environment. The student population has increased in 2013 to now be more than 530 from more than 15 nationalities. Students with English as a Second Language (ESL), those with disabilities and learning difficulties are well catered for with Individual Learning Plans developed as required.
